CV Trinity provides six independent modulation channels, each with its own CV input and CV output. A channel can be set to Automation, LFO or ADSR. Select buttons choose the channel being edited, knobs adjust its parameters, and the mode button switches between the three modes. A separate select output carries a copy of the currently edited channel, with an LED to show it.
Automation is a clocked 32-step voltage memory with adjustable linear interpolation, a variable number of steps, and the option of clocking from the master clock input or from each channel's own CV input. The LFO has a rate range reaching audio frequencies, XOR waveshaping, and shapes including ramp, inverted ramp, triangle, flopping ramp, flopping triangle and stepped random with smoothing and looping. It can sync to the clock, and its rate can be controlled by the CV input. The ADSR uses the CV input as a gate, works with linear or exponential curves, can loop, and can run as ADSR or attack-hold-release, with decay tied to release.
A clock input is provided, and the clock output is normalized to it; the output division can be adjusted from the front panel. Jumpers set a 0–5 V or 0–10 V range for each CV input. Independent reset and re-trigger inputs can be added with the CV Trinity Expander.
