DeepMind 12D

The DEEPMIND 12D is a 12-voice polyphonic synthesizer with a fully analog signal path in a desktop or rack-mount case. Each voice has two oscillators, two LFOs and three four-stage ADSR envelope generators with variable curves, feeding a switchable 12/24 dB analog low-pass filter with resonance and key tracking. A 6 dB high-pass filter with a +12 dB bass boost, a global noise generator, unison and poly oscillator modes, polyphonic portamento, oscillator sync and drift are included.

Modulation comes from an 8-channel matrix with 20 sources and more than 130 destinations, plus a 32-step control sequencer that can be mapped as a modulation source. Playing aids include an arpeggiator with 32 preset patterns and up to 6 octaves, and a chord memory holding 36 chords. Four simultaneous digital effects engines offer more than 33 algorithms covering reverbs, delays, choruses, modulation, compression, distortion and EQ, with a true bypass mode. Patches are stored in 1024 user memory slots.

The synth has balanced stereo TRS outputs, a headphone output, sustain and pedal/CV inputs, MIDI In/Out/Thru and MIDI over USB. Remote control and preset management are available from iPad, PC or Mac apps over USB, MIDI or built-in WiFi, which works as a client or an access point without a router.
