The TG D35 is a dynamic microphone aimed at drums and percussion, with a frequency response tuned for toms and snare. Its dynamic capsule handles high sound pressure levels without distortion, so it also works on other loud instruments.
The supercardioid pickup pattern gives strong separation between channels, which helps on a crowded kit. A balanced proximity effect keeps low frequencies full. The housing is compact, light and made of tough plastic; the low weight reduces unwanted swinging of the mic once it is mounted on a drum.
It connects with a 3-pin XLR cable. An MKV 87 microphone clamp is supplied, so the mic can be fitted to a drum hoop and used straight away.
