The Pulse Soundbar is a streaming soundbar designed to sit under a TV. It combines six drivers and two passive radiators, driven by a 120 W digital amplifier, and offers selectable listening modes: two dialog-enhancing modes, a wide music mode and a wide cinema mode. It supports Dolby Digital and Dolby Atmos multi-channel formats, and hi-res playback up to 24-bit/192 kHz.
As a BluOS player it joins other Bluesound players in a multi-room system and can be controlled from the BluOS app on mobile and desktop platforms. Streaming and integration options include AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Qobuz Connect, Roon Ready, Amazon Alexa skills and several home-control systems. A Bluesound RC1 remote can be used with it.
For TV connection it has HDMI eARC, optical and 3.5 mm analog inputs. A wired and a wireless subwoofer output are provided, and a Pulse Sub and two Pulse Flex speakers can be added to build a wireless surround system. Network connection is by Gigabit Ethernet or dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth works in both transmit and receive directions. A wall mount is included.
