Description
The Katana-110 Bass is a combo bass amp built around a class AB power amp rated at 60 W continuous and 110 W peak. It uses a custom 10-inch woofer and a tweeter that can be switched off from the panel. Three preamp types (Vintage, Flat, Modern) are paired with a three-position Shape switch for mid scoop, bright or extended-range voicing.
Tone shaping includes a four-band EQ with selectable low-mid and high-mid frequencies, a Blend section that mixes in dry signal, and four effect sections: compressor, drive, FX1 and FX2. FX2 adds delay and reverb, and more than 60 effect types can be loaded through the BOSS Tone Studio editor. Six memories store preamp, EQ, Blend and effect settings, and a Power Control switch lowers volume for home use.
Connections include a balanced XLR-style direct output with direct, pre or post selection, a phones/recording output with mic'd cabinet emulation, USB, send/return, aux in and a GA-FC footswitch jack. An optional BT-DUAL Bluetooth adaptor allows editing from a phone.
