The Concentro 2.0 S 507 is the floorstanding model in ELAC's Concentro S family. Its main driver is the JET 6 concentric unit, which pairs the maker's folded ribbon tweeter with an integrated midrange so that both share the same acoustic centre. Aligning the centres and controlling dispersion is meant to give a coherent, focused soundstage.
The driver uses a crystal membrane geometry, which raises stiffness and helps keep unwanted resonance under control across the driver's working range. The cabinet has a tapered shape, a floating stance and sculpted surfaces, and the speaker is handcrafted in Kiel, Germany.
