Description
This is a right-handed, double-cutaway solid-body electric guitar from the American Professional Classic series. It has an alder body with a gloss urethane finish, a maple neck with a satin urethane finish and a choice of maple or rosewood fingerboard. The neck has a Modern "C" profile, a 9.5" radius, 22 medium jumbo frets and a 25.5" scale length.
Three Coastline '57 single-coil pickups are selected with a 5-position blade switch. Controls are a master volume, a tone control for the neck and middle pickups, and a Greasebucket tone circuit for the bridge pickup. The Greasebucket circuit is designed to roll off treble without adding bass or reducing gain. The middle pickup is reverse wound, reverse polarity (RWRP).
Hardware is vintage-style: a 6-saddle synchronized tremolo with 6-screw mounting, staggered ClassicGear tuners, dual-wing string trees and a 4-bolt neck plate. Several faded and classic finishes are offered, and each guitar ships with Fender USA 250L strings (.009-.042) and a deluxe gig bag. The guitar is a passive instrument with no onboard power or connectivity beyond the standard output.
