32 Classic Console

The 32Classic is an in-line analog console built around transformer-coupled mic preamps and the Harrison 32C four-band parametric EQ with variable high-pass and low-pass filters. The standard configuration has 32 mono mic/line channels. Each channel can be sent to any of 8 bus masters, 5 aux buses (4 mono, 1 stereo) or straight to the transformer-balanced main mix bus. An in-line record status mode sends the input signal to the DAW while a separate playback path feeds monitoring and headphones through an alternate output matrix.

The console includes 64 AD and 64 DA converters and a Dante AoIP interface, which handle external routing and patching. The monitor section is 12 wide and supports Atmos 7.1.4 for music. Build details include double-sided PCBs, gold-plated switches, conductive plastic potentiometers, PCB-carried summing buses with no ribbon cable, 100 mm faders, LEDs on every switch and analog VU output meters.

The extruded aluminum frame has a two-tier front bolster for keyboard, mouse and other devices, and a rear shelf for screens or small speakers. Cable raceways and pass-through access are expanded. Standard D-sub connectors carry the audio I/O. Custom configurations are offered on request, including 48-channel and 96-channel versions, a Producer Desk with a split layout, and mixed frame sizes and channel counts.
