This is a passive two-way mid/high unit in a bass-reflex cabinet. It combines a 12" cone speaker with a 1" compression driver on a constant directivity horn, crossed over at 2 kHz. A dynamic protective circuit guards the high-frequency driver. Power handling is 400 W RMS, 800 W program and 1200 W peak, with a maximum peak SPL of 128 dB.
The cabinet is built from MDF with a jet black acrylic enamel finish and a steel front grille backed with acoustic foam. The 30° monitor angle suits wedge-style use on stage, and two integrated carrying handles help with transport. Dispersion is 60° x 40° (horizontal x vertical).
Connection is by NL4 Speakon, with one input and one parallel output, so several cabinets can be chained from one amplifier channel. Amp presets and filter sheets are available for Lab.gruppen IPX and IPD series amplifiers, with limiter settings included. A protective cover is available as an accessory.
