The Mars 400S Pro sends video from a camera to a receiver over a 5GHz link with OFDM modulation, a data rate of 12Mbps and latency below 0.1 seconds. The stated range is up to 400ft (120m), and the system handles 1080p60 video. Smart channel scan picks the best channel automatically after power-up.
Both units carry SDI and HDMI ports, and input and output do not have to use the same type. The receiver can output over SDI and HDMI at the same time. One transmitter can feed up to two receivers, and up to four phones or tablets running the companion app can be used as monitors, with a brightness histogram, frame marking and zoom. The fan has auto, low and off modes, with a maximum noise level of 55dB.
Each unit runs from an NP-F battery, a USB-C source (5V/2A), or a 6-16V DC input. Each has two RP-SMA antenna connectors and weighs 206g.
