The Ci130.2CS is a round-baffle in-wall speaker from KEF's Ci-C Series, an entry point into custom-installation speakers. It uses a Uni-Q driver array in which the 16 mm aluminium dome tweeter sits at the acoustic centre of the 130 mm bass/midrange cone. The two act as a single point source, spreading sound widely and evenly through the room.
The speaker is built for unobtrusive installation. Its mounting depth from the surface is 77.1 mm, so it can fit in locations where other speakers of its class cannot. Ultra-Thin Bezels sit almost invisibly at the edge of an exceptionally flat grille. The grille is magnetic, and both the grille and bezel can be painted to match the wall.
The enclosure is open-backed and the speaker is weather resistant, with a treatment against moisture and UV light and an IP64 certification. It is a passive 8 ohm design that connects to an external amplifier rated for 10-80 W.
