The DSL100 Head is a valve guitar amplifier head rated at 100W, with a switch that lowers output to 50W. It has two channels, a Classic Gain channel with a clean/crunch switch and an Ultra Gain channel with an OD1/2 switch, so each channel offers two modes. Shared tone controls cover bass, middle, treble, presence and resonance, with a tone shift switch and separate digital reverb controls for each channel.
The power section uses four EL34 valves, and the preamp uses three ECC83 valves plus one ECC83 as phase splitter. Two master volume controls, selected with a master select switch, let the player store two output levels. A single series effects loop can be switched on and off.
For connections there are five speaker outputs on 1/4" jacks, which accept 16Ω, 8Ω or 4Ω loads, and an emulated line output. A 1/4" instrument input is joined by a 3.5mm jack that serves as Aux in, MIDI in and footswitch input, so the amp can be operated from MIDI equipment. The head is finished in black and ships with a detachable power cable and a footswitch (PEDL-90012).
