Origin20 Head
The Origin20 Head is a single-channel, all-valve 20W guitar amplifier head with switchable power reduction to about 3W and 0.5W. It suits guitarists who play in settings ranging from bedrooms to rehearsal rooms and small venues.

The Origin20 Head is a one-channel valve amp head built around two EL34 power valves and three ECC83 valves in the preamp and phase splitter. Its Powerstem power scaling gives three output levels: 20W at full power, roughly 3W at mid power and roughly 0.5W at low power. Powerstem lowers the voltage rails around the power amp instead of using pentode/triode switching, so the tone is meant to stay the same at lower volumes.
The controls are Gain (with a pull boost), Tilt, Bass, Middle, Treble, Master and Presence, plus the Powerstem power selector. The Tilt knob shifts the sound from a normal voicing to a brighter, high-treble one, a single-knob take on the multi-input approach of older Marshall amps such as the 1959SLP and JTM45. The gain boost can be switched with an optional 2-way footswitch, which also turns the effects loop on and off.
The back panel has a series effects loop that can be switched in and out, speaker outputs on 1/4" jacks for 16Ω and 8Ω loads, and a 1/4" DI output. The head has one 1/4" instrument input and a footswitch input. It is finished in black and weighs 9.4 kg.
