Traktor Z1 is a small mixer controller with an integrated soundcard, designed to give hands-on control of Traktor Pro 4 without extra gear. It has a 3-band EQ per channel, stem volume controls for drums, bass, instruments and vocals, channel faders, a crossfader and level meters. Dedicated pre-listen controls adjust the cue/master balance and headphone volume.
The Mixer FX section gives one-knob access to nine effects that can be assigned to each channel: Filter, Reverb, Dual Delay, Noise, Time Gater, Flanger, Crush, Dotted Delay and Barber Pole. Three OLED displays show mixing information, EQ and stem parameters, FX selection and the master output meter, while a light guide signals when a track is about to end or is looping. Dual-layer functionality lets it control up to four decks, and button groups can be colour-coded and remapped in Traktor Pro 4.
It connects to a computer over USB-B and outputs to speakers via RCA and a 3.5 mm mini-jack. Traktor Pro 4 is included, and the unit can be combined with X1 or F1 controllers for deck, loop and cue control.
