The twenty5.21i is the smallest speaker in the twenty5i series. It pairs a 5.5-inch long-throw g-weave cone woofer on a cast alloy chassis with a 19 mm soft-dome tweeter using SONOMEX fabric, and crosses over at 1.7 kHz. Bass is loaded by PMC's Advanced Transmission Line, which has an effective length of 1.72 m, rather than a ported or sealed enclosure.
The cabinet suits a stand, a bookshelf or a desk stand. It is aimed at rooms where space is limited, and it can also serve as a side or rear effects speaker in an immersive multichannel setup. Nominal impedance is 8 ohms and sensitivity is 86.5 dB (1 W, 1 m). Recommended amplifier power is 25 to 150 W.
Each speaker has one pair of 4 mm binding posts for connection to an amplifier. A 20-year warranty applies when the product is registered within 10 days of purchase, subject to terms and conditions. A brochure, manual and drawing are available as downloads.
