The Monitor XT10 is a powered subwoofer built around a 10-inch long-throw, high-excursion Dynamic Balance driver. It is driven by a Class D amplifier and reproduces bass down to 24 Hz. The cabinet is critically braced and uses a down-firing port to reduce resonances and unwanted interference.

Bass can be tuned to the room and the system with a continuously variable crossover, a low-pass filter, a polarity switch and a volume control. The low-pass crossover covers 40 Hz to 160 Hz, and phase can be set to 0 or 180 degrees. The subwoofer is timbre-matched to the Monitor XT speaker series and is suited to Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and Auro 3D setups. Using two or more subwoofers in one room is also supported, which can even out low frequencies across the space.

Connection is through a single RCA LFE input or a stereo pair of line-level inputs. Because the unit is powered, it can be paired with AV receivers that have a subwoofer pre-out. It is not compatible with the Denon SB550 sound bar. The cabinet measures 11.9 x 15.7 x 16.6 inches and has a black vinyl finish.
