Elevator

The Elevator is a multi-level booster built around a 100% discrete, class-A audio circuit. It provides up to 18dB of clean boost with very low distortion and phase deviation, so the character of the guitar and amp is kept intact when the boost is engaged.

A Drag control on the input applies load correction, which preserves the natural tone of the instrument and gives the feel of plugging straight into an amp. A mid-boost switch adds extra sustain and can be used together with the main boost. When the boost is off, the pedal can either be set to true bypass or run a pre-boost gain stage that drives the front end of the amp harder, leaving the main boost for solos.

Typical uses include pushing a vintage amp for more harmonics, hitting an overdrive pedal harder, or adding sustain and controlled feedback to a high-gain amp. The product has been discontinued and is no longer shipping; the maker keeps a user guide and specification sheet available for existing owners.
