Description
The RMX-40 DSP BlackFire Edition is a four-channel club mixer with a fifth, return-type input path. Its DSP effect section offers pan, trans, delay, echo, flanger, filter, phase and pitch shifter, each with time and level parameters. Effects can be tied to the beat counter's timing or adjusted by hand, and an effect send/return is available on every channel.
The crossfader (45 mm, adjustable curve) can be assigned to any input channel and supports fader-start play. The 60 mm line faders are reversible with adjustable curves. Kill switches for both crossfader channels reach down to -40 dB and include a flash function. Channels 1-4 and mic 2 have 3-band EQs, and mic 1 and talkover have their own 3-band EQ. The headphone section adds a 1-band EQ and a mono/stereo switch.
Connections include 4 phono and 4(+4) line inputs, a return and 2 mic inputs. The outputs are balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA masters with balance control, plus send and record outputs.
