Description
The HP-207 pairs a multi-sampled 88-key piano sound, with piano resonance, with a PHA II Ivory Feel keyboard that has Escapement and natural key sides. Key touch can be set across 100 levels. A Piano Designer function lets the player shape the piano tone and save the result. Other sound features include 128-voice polyphony, 337 tones and a set of lid, resonance and noise simulations for piano tones.
The cabinet has front legs and a sliding half key cover that hides the front-panel controls and can act as a child lock. It comes in Mahogany or Satin Black. Sound comes from a 60 W x 2 amplifier driving 16 cm and 5 cm speakers. A three-track recorder, 70 internal songs, a metronome and a Twin Piano mode cover practice and teaching.
A USB Host port plays Standard MIDI Files and WAV files from USB memory, with real-time transpose for audio. An optional USB CD drive adds audio CD playback with centre cancel for singing along. A USB (MIDI) port and MIDI IN/OUT connect it to computers and other gear. Line inputs and outputs and two headphone jacks are also fitted.
