The KC-220 is a compact stereo amplifier for keyboards and other electronic instruments. It combines a 30 W (15 W + 15 W) power section with two 6.5-inch woofers and two tweeters, and it can run from eight AA batteries or from the supplied AC adaptor. The batteries sit in a removable cartridge.
It works as a small mixer as well. Three 1/4-inch line channels take keyboards, drum machines and similar sources, and channel 1 also has an XLR input for a vocal mic. A separate aux input with 1/8-inch stereo and RCA jacks suits phones and music players. Built-in DSP offers a reverb and two chorus types (normal and wide), and the effects can be switched with an optional footswitch. Low and high EQ and a master knob shape the overall sound.
For connections, the amp has mono/stereo line outputs for PA systems, monitors or recorders, plus a headphone jack that mutes the speakers. It has metal jacks, a tilt-back stand and a mount for the optional ST-A95 speaker stand.
