The SR-WM2100 is a two-person digital wireless microphone kit working in the 2.4 GHz band. Two transmitters send audio to a single dual-channel receiver that mounts on a camera, so two speakers can be recorded at once without cables between them and the recording device. The system is specified for a line-of-sight range of 239.7 ft (70 m) and switches channels automatically to avoid interference.
Each transmitter has a dedicated 3.5 mm microphone input and a line-level input. This allows use of the two included omnidirectional lavalier mics, other 3.5 mm microphones, or a wireless line-level feed from another source.
The receiver connects to the recording device with TRS and TRRS audio output cables, which covers cameras as well as smartphones, tablets and computers. A headphone output on the receiver allows real-time monitoring. The kit is offered in several model variants: SR-WM2100, SR-WM2100 U1, SR-WM2100 U2 and SR-WM2100 X.
