The V7 MG is a spare or alternative head grille for V7-series dynamic microphones. It is made from premium spring steel mesh with a beveled edge, and the mesh is described as dent-proof and corrosion-free. The bevel keeps the microphone from rolling when it is set down on an amp or a stage floor.
Inside the grille sits a switchable internal windscreen that reduces wind noise and plosive pops. The windscreen is red, and a spare black one is included for users who prefer a different colour.
The grille is available in seven finishes: Gold, Nickel, Black, Red, White, Chrome and Standard. It fits the V7, the V7 MC wireless series, the V7 Switch, the V7 PTT, the V3 and the V2 microphones. The grille measures 54 mm across and 59 mm in length and weighs 75 g.
