SPL DMC

The DMC is a stereo analog mastering console built around SPL's 120V technology, which runs the audio circuitry at +/-60 V. It has four stereo Input pairs for material to be processed and four stereo Source pairs for comparison or playback. Each input channel can be switched on or off, phase reversed and trimmed in 0.25 dB steps, and a stereo input can be summed to mono. A recording gain potentiometer allows fine gain rides and stays out of the signal path when not activated.

The monitoring section drives three speaker pairs (full-range, mid-field and near-field) plus a mono Speakers D output. Each speaker channel can be soloed and phase reversed. The subwoofer can be paired with a chosen monitor, and the Phonitor HP Out can be programmed to mute the speakers during headphone use. The insert return has its own 0.25 dB trim, and loudness compensation of +/-10 dB can be linked to the Insert, Sources or Inputs switches. A large illuminated level control shows the monitor level from a distance.

The insert loop is intended to work with the Hermes Mastering Router, and the DMC can be linked to the MC16 16-channel monitor controller for surround and immersive projects such as Dolby Atmos or Auro 3D. All audio connections are balanced XLR. The unit is available in black, all black and red finishes.
