Description
The Paranormal Esquire Deluxe is a single-pickup, Telecaster-shaped electric guitar that takes styling cues from 1970s Fender designs. It carries one Fender-designed alnico Wide Range humbucking pickup in the bridge position, with master volume and master tone controls.
Instead of a toggle switch, a three-way rotary switch with a black chicken-head pointer selects between the full humbucker with volume and tone bypassed, the humbucker with normal controls, and the inner coil of the humbucker only. The bridge is a six-saddle string-through-body Tele-style design with bent steel saddles, intended to add body resonance and string tension.
The maple neck has a C-shape profile with a gloss urethane finish, a 25.5" scale, a 9.5" radius maple fingerboard with black dot inlays and 21 narrow tall frets. Vintage-style tuning machines, a synthetic bone nut and a 3-ply black pickguard complete the build. It is a passive guitar and connects through a standard instrument cable. It is offered in Mocha with an okoume body and Metallic Black with a poplar body.
