A 6-inch dual concentric in-ceiling loudspeaker with a 165 mm Kevlar-cone driver and a centrally mounted HF unit, handling up to 280 W. It is the smallest model in the PCI in-ceiling range and suits small to medium rooms in home music, film and multi-room installations.

The PCI 6DC is an in-ceiling loudspeaker built around a single dual concentric driver, in which the high-frequency unit sits at the centre of the low/mid-frequency cone to act as a time-coherent point source. The LF/MF cone is blue Kevlar with a high-excursion rubber surround, and the driver is rated to handle up to 280 W while being described as easy to drive.
A tulip waveguide gives symmetrical dispersion for a wide soundstage and focused stereo imaging. The enclosure-free installation unit has a rigid diecast chassis intended to improve bass response, and a self-aligning clamping system holds the single integrated unit in the ceiling. The bezel is very thin so the speaker is unobtrusive in the room.
The grille is a powder-coated, perforated, UV-resistant steel mesh that keeps dust out and can be removed and painted to match the room's décor. The speaker is intended for stereo, surround-sound and multi-room installations, for both music and movies, and is the compact member of the PCI series that uses the same technology as the larger models.
