The CD-200iL plays audio CDs and data CDs containing WAV, MP3 or MP2 files from a TEAC-built drive designed for audio. A 10-second shockproof memory guards against skipping from vibration. CD text and ID3 tags are shown on the display. Playback modes include continuous, shuffle and program, with single and all-track repeat. Data discs also support folder playback, folder skipping and folder repeat. A pitch control of +/-14% is available, and an intro check function plays the first 10 seconds of each track in turn.
The front dock takes iPods and iPhones through a 30-pin or Lightning connector without a conversion cable. The dock carries audio output, transport control and charging, and the player's controls can handle album skip, repeat and playback mode on the connected device. A stereo mini jack on the front panel accepts other portable audio sources, and a 6.3 mm headphone output is provided.
Outputs on the rear are unbalanced RCA analog plus coaxial and optical S/PDIF digital. The chassis is 2U in EIA rack-mount size, and a wireless remote with a 10-key pad is supplied.
