The TU-690 is a 2U rack-mountable AM/FM radio tuner with a large display, a 10-key pad for direct frequency entry and 60 station presets. It suits studios, broadcast racks and installations that need a simple radio source. The model has been discontinued.

The TU-690 is a basic AM/FM tuner built in a 2U rack-mount chassis. Stations can be tuned by typing a frequency on the 10-key pad, or recalled from memory. The unit stores 30 AM and 30 FM presets, 60 in total. The display is large enough to be read from across a room, and a sleep timer is included.
Antenna connections for both AM and FM are on the rear panel. The supplied antennae can be attached, or a larger building-mounted antenna can be used in their place. A 150 to 75 ohm adapter is provided to match the antenna cabling.
An IR remote control comes with the tuner. Documentation published for the model includes an owner's manual, technical documentation, a design specification and an IR remote controller code list. The manufacturer lists the TU-690 as discontinued.
