Voice Rack FX puts a set of vocal-focused processing into one rack unit. Reverb, delay, double, modulation, EQ, compression and de-essing are controlled from the front panel. The algorithms are described as voiced specifically for human voices. It has up to two channels of independent processing, so a lead and a backing vocal can be treated at the same time.
It can be used in several ways. It can run as an insert chain on a lead vocal when connected to a DAW over USB. It can sit in a hardware monitor path so a singer hears effects in their headphones. It can also serve as a live vocal-effects processor that front-of-house does not need to adjust. MIDI control allows hands-free patch changes on stage.
The rear panel has XLR and 1/4-inch I/O, S/PDIF, MIDI and USB. The front panel is designed to be readable from a distance in a rack.
