The VoiceLive 3 Extreme is TC Helicon's top floor processor for singing musicians. It brings together an eight-voice harmony engine, a vocal effects suite, a guitar effects suite and a synchronised looper in one pedalboard-sized unit.
Vocal processing covers harmony, doubling, reverb, delay, hardtune, transducer and distortion, plus the Adaptive Tone engine, which is meant to keep the lead voice present in different rooms. For guitar there are amp and cab models, drive, modulation and a tuner, so an acoustic or electric can go to the PA with a processed tone.
The looper records six independent vocal and guitar tracks. Each has its own undo, redo and stop, and all tracks lock to a shared tempo. Up to 500 loop arrangements can be saved to onboard storage and recalled by preset.
Connections include an XLR mic input with phantom power, stereo XLR main outputs, MIDI in and out, and USB audio in and out for backing tracks and direct recording. An SD slot is provided for backups.
