The SINE DX is the open-back counterpart to the closed-back SINE. It uses an 80x70 mm planar magnetic transducer with an ultra-thin Uniforce diaphragm and a Fluxor neodymium N50 magnet array, tuned for open-back use. The open design gives a wider, deeper soundstage with more separation between instruments.
With 18 ohms impedance and a sensitivity of 102 dB/1mW, it can be driven by a wide range of sources, with a minimum power requirement of more than 100 mW. Frequency response is stated as 10 Hz to 50 kHz with THD below 0.2% at 100 dB, and maximum SPL is above 130 dB.
The headphone is on-ear in style, uses Fazor phase management, and weighs 300 g. It is marked as a legacy product that is no longer available for sale from the maker.
