The UCA202 connects analog audio gear to a computer over USB, giving stereo in and out through a small box. It provides two mono analog inputs and two outputs, plus an optical S/PDIF digital output for feeding digital equipment.
The headphone output is stereo and has a dedicated level control. It can be used to listen to both the incoming signal and the output from the computer.
Typical uses include linking a mixing console to a PC or Mac. The RCA outputs can be wired to the Tape Input jacks of a mixer or to powered monitors. Connecting to mixer input channels also lets the mixer's Aux Send be used to build a monitor mix for recording sessions.
