The PULSE FLEX is a small two-way speaker built around two custom full-range drivers and digital amplification. Audio goes through digital processing on playback. It can sit on a shelf or be mounted in a room corner with an optional wall bracket, and a pair can be used together in a larger room.
It joins a home Wi-Fi network and is controlled with the BluOS app on a phone, tablet or computer. The app gives access to streaming services, internet radio, podcasts and personal music libraries. The speaker can be grouped with other Bluesound players for synchronised playback in several rooms. Voice control is available through the BluOS skill in the Amazon Alexa app, and the Bluesound RC1 remote controller is supported.
For listening away from the router, aptX Bluetooth streams from any Bluetooth device. The optional BP100 rechargeable battery pack attaches to the speaker and gives up to six hours of playback. It charges when the speaker is plugged in. The wall mount bracket and battery pack are sold separately.
