The C4 Deluxe is a bolt-on 4-string bass that adds new finishes to the Artisan C Class. It uses a poplar body, chosen as a lighter and more comfortable wood with a balanced tone: strong mids and a firm low end. The neck is hard maple with a jatoba fingerboard, 24 frets, white dot inlays and a 34 inch scale.

Electronics are a Bartolini MK-1 pickup set with a Markbass MB-1 preamp. The pickups give punchy, warm mids and clear highs, while the preamp boosts the signal transparently and keeps a passive-like feel with smooth lows and bell-like highs.

The MetalCraft M4 bridge is a solid, high-mass design with a dual string loading system. Strings can be fed through the body or from the top, depending on string thickness, to settle on a suitable tension. String spacing is 19mm. Hardware is black, with die-cast tuning machines and D'Addario EXL165 strings fitted. Finishes are Candy Red, Candy Blue and Black.
