Ecler NIC-6
Two-way ceiling and wall loudspeaker with a 6.5" woofer and 1" steerable dome tweeter, rated 50 W RMS. It has a built-in 70/100 V transformer plus 8 Ω operation and an IP66 rating, for installers fitting retail, hospitality, education and corporate spaces.

The NIC-6 is a 2-way in-ceiling or in-wall speaker with a 6.5" woofer and a 1" steerable dome tweeter. It handles 50 W RMS (100 W program, 200 W peak) and covers 103° conically. A built-in transformer gives multi-tap operation on 100 V and 70 V lines, and the speaker can also run at 8 Ω from a conventional amplifier.
It belongs to the NIC Series and uses ART (Acoustic Resonator Technology) in the back can. This is intended to lower low-frequency distortion compared with a conventional closed-box design and to reduce resonance and unwanted excitation of false ceilings. The enclosure is ABS plastic with an IP66 rating, and the frameless iron grille is held on by magnets and can be removed. The Ecler logo on it is removable too.
Wiring goes through a 4-pin Euroblock connector on the front of the baffle. The 8 Ω or high-impedance selection and the tap setting are also reached from the front, so they can be changed after the speaker is installed. Fixing uses three rotating tabs. The finish is white (RAL 9003), and a black grille (NICRG6BK) and a tile bridge (NIC-TB6) are available as options.
