Vertex III OW-VJ63S

The OW-VJ63S is a sealed-cabinet, two-way on-wall loudspeaker. It pairs a single 6-inch woofer with ELAC's JET folded ribbon tweeter, an air-motion-transformer design, and the crossover sits at 2,400 Hz. The woofer uses an aluminum cone with a crystal-shaped surface that adds stiffness. The stated response runs from 48 Hz to 50 kHz at a sensitivity of 86 dB (2.83 V/1 m) and a nominal impedance of 4 ohms.

The cabinet can be mounted either vertically or horizontally. Four recessed keyhole inserts take the wall fixings, and routed channels leave room for cables so the speaker can sit flush against the wall. Supplied brackets offer an alternative way to hang it in either orientation. A switch on the rear of the cabinet changes the tweeter tuning to suit the chosen orientation.

The speaker is designed to share the sound character of ELAC's home audio range, so it can be used as a surround alongside front-channel speakers or soundbars from the same family. It has a black baffle and a black fabric grille. Recommended amplifier power is 40 to 120 watts.
