The 22500 is a stereo looper built around two loops, A and B, which can run one after the other for verse/chorus changes or at the same time. Loop lengths can be independent or locked together, with quantized or free-running recording, adjustable tempo and programmable loop and overdub length. Each loop has its own reverse and octave (half or double speed) buttons, and the last overdub or recording can be undone and redone.
Audio is written uncompressed to an SDHC card (4 to 32 GB), with up to 100 loops per card. An 8GB card is supplied, good for up to 12 hours of recording. It also has 16 built-in drum loops that follow the tempo, with a third footswitch that can be set to stop everything, start and stop the rhythm, or tap tempo.
Inputs are two 1/4" instrument/line jacks plus a switchable XLR microphone input with trim and phantom power. Stereo 1/4" outputs carry the signal out. A USB port shows the SD card as a removable disk for backing up and restoring loops on a PC or Mac, and a jack accepts the optional Loop Up/Down foot controller to scroll through loop banks.
