The Infinite 8 is a two-way surround speaker with a sealed enclosure. It is built for mounting on or in a wall or ceiling and is meant to reproduce the surround effects used in Dolby Atmos and DTS:X soundtracks. The cabinet is compact and shallow, which keeps it unobtrusive and simplifies installation. The finish is satin black with brushed metal.
The mid-low driver is 17 cm, made from Rohacell and carbon fibre. A 29 mm silk dome tweeter with a ring handles the high frequencies. Stated frequency response is 75 Hz to 30 kHz, and power handling is 100 W RMS, so it can be driven at high volume.
It is intended for dedicated screening rooms and home cinema installations, where it serves as the surround channel in a multichannel system.
