Description

The Compugilist combines two independent, all-analog circuits, a compressor and a distortion, in a single pedal. Each effect has its own switch, so either can be used alone or both together. The circuit is an original Fender design with straightforward controls. The compressor uses a high-current symmetrical control path to catch volume spikes quickly, and a dedicated toggle switch adds a bass boost for more low end.

The enclosure is anodized aluminium, finished in gold. An Amp Jewel LED gives the pedal a classic Fender look, and the knobs are backlit with LEDs that can be switched on, so the settings stay readable on a dark stage.

The pedal runs from a 9V DC supply with a center-negative connector, which fits most pedalboard power supplies. It draws 75 mA. An AC adaptor is not supplied with the pedal. A manual and the Fender Parts and Accessories 2-Year Limited Warranty document are available as downloads.
