Description
The Les Paul Modern Lite is a Les Paul-shaped electric guitar built around a thinner all-mahogany body intended to be lighter and better balanced than a traditional build. A belly cut on the back adds comfort when playing. The finish is satin nitrocellulose lacquer, here in TV Wheat, and the headstock is colour-matched to the body, which is a first for a core Les Paul model.
The set mahogany neck carries an Indian rosewood fingerboard with a 304.8 mm radius, 22 medium jumbo frets, acrylic dot inlays and a SlimTaper profile. Scale length is 628.65 mm, with a Graph Tech nut and Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners.
Electronics are a 490R humbucker at the neck and a 498T humbucker at the bridge, switched with a 3-way toggle and controlled by two volumes and two tones. Output is a 1/4" jack. The guitar ships with a soft shell case and a Gibson accessory kit.
