The PitchHawk-U2 is a headstock clip-on tuner made for ukuleles of all sizes. Its display is a color LCD with a white backlight and a VA meter, with text and meter colors that change to show tuning status. A piezo pickup senses vibration from the instrument itself, so tuning stays accurate when other players are nearby.
Tuning modes cover Chromatic, C tuning (conventional Hawaiian tuning for soprano, concert and tenor), D tuning (American tuning) and Baritone. A string setting switches between 4-string and 6–8-string instruments, which includes Low-G. Calibration allows different concert pitches, auto power-off saves the battery, and memory backup keeps settings while the unit is off.
The body is slim and folds flat for storage in a gig bag pocket. The battery holder and four directional buttons (left, right, up, down) sit on the rear. The clip uses a movable arm plus a ball joint, so the tuner can be angled freely and stays put while the player moves.
