DRM12A

The DRM12A is an active two-way cabinet with a 12" high-excursion woofer and a compression driver array of three 1" titanium diaphragms. A 2000W Class-D amplifier with a universal 100-240 VAC power supply and power factor correction drives it, and protection circuitry guards the transducers. The DSP module uses FIR filtering to correct the response of the drivers and horns, including time alignment and crossovers.

Settings are made on a full-colour display with a single knob. The dashboard shows levels and clipping and gives access to a 3-band parametric EQ, venue voicing modes, array modes, variable crossover, alignment delay, configuration and a 4-digit system lock. Array presets cover 1 cabinet, 2 cabinets, 3-4 cabinets with a long-throw option, and an independent sub option. Up to 6 user presets can be saved and recalled.

The cabinet is 15mm plywood with internal bracing, a textured touring coating and a powder-coated steel grille. It has a ported design, a dual-angle pole mount and integrated flying hardware with 7 M10 flypoints. Up to 4 DRM12A cabinets and 2 DRM18S subwoofers can be flown with the optional FB100 Fly Bar. Connection is by XLR input with a parallel XLR direct output.
