The Grand Horizon is a wireless speaker built around the Rise GaN FET amplifier topology and the Gravity driver family. It combines one 8-inch bass driver, four 3-inch wideband drivers and three 1-inch high-frequency drivers. Marantz Mirage digital signal processing is used to widen the sound beyond the cabinet, and the enclosure is covered in a seamless 360-degree fabric. It is offered in Midnight Sky, Moon Ray and Marantz Champagne.
For sources it has HDMI eARC/ARC, an optical TOSLINK input, a stereo RCA analog input and a USB-C port for mass storage playback. It decodes Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital+ and Dolby Digital, and handles PCM up to 192 kHz / 24 bit plus DSD up to 5.6 MHz.
Networking is by Ethernet or dual-band Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax), with Bluetooth 5.4, AirPlay 2 and Spotify Connect. HEOS Built-in provides multiroom control and access to services such as TIDAL, Amazon Music, Deezer and Qobuz through the HEOS app on iOS, Android or Kindle Fire. Control systems such as Crestron, Control4 and AMX can drive it over TCP/IP.
