Willen II is a mono portable speaker built around one 2-inch, 10 W full-range driver and two passive radiators in a sealed cabinet, driven by a 38 W Class D amplifier. It covers 75-20,000 Hz and reaches a maximum of 88 dB SPL at 1 m. The body is slightly larger than the original Willen, which is meant to give deeper bass, and the drivers have been revised for a more balanced response.
The IP67 rating allows submersion in 1 m of water for up to 30 minutes. A rubber fastening strap lets the speaker stand, lie flat, be fixed to an object or hang. A built-in microphone handles hands-free calls. Playtime is over 17 hours per charge, with 20 minutes of charging giving about 5.5 hours of playback and a full charge taking about 2.5 hours. Spare parts are user-replaceable.
The speaker connects over Bluetooth 5.3 LE with a range of up to 10 m in free field, and it supports multipoint connection. It is ready for Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast once source devices support it. A multi-directional control knob on the top panel handles playback, and settings are managed in the Marshall Bluetooth app for iOS and Android.
