UltraDeck

The UltraDeck is a two-speed belt-drive turntable with a stepped Delrin pulley for 33 1/3 and 45 RPM. A 300 RPM AC synchronous motor is decoupled from the plinth with damping materials, which keeps motor vibration away from the platter and stylus. The platter is a 1.3-inch, 6.8 lb Delrin disc that runs on a hardened-steel inverted bearing combining steel, bronze and sapphire.

The plinth is an MDF body with three bonded aluminum plates that add mass and limit resonance. Anti-vibration feet developed with Harmonic Resolution Systems are included. The 10-inch straight aluminum Ultra tonearm uses ball bearings in the vertical and horizontal planes, and its adjustable offset angle and 5 g to 10 g cartridge weight range allow a range of cartridges to be fitted.

Signal leaves the deck through Cardas Audio wiring running from the headshell leads to gold-plated RCA connectors. The turntable is offered without a cartridge or bundled with an UltraTracker, MasterTracker or UltraGold MC cartridge. It accepts 120V 60Hz, 220-230V 50Hz or 100V 50Hz mains supplies.
