The Z140 is a palm-sized on-camera flash rated at GN15 (ISO 100, meters) with a colour temperature of about 6200K. It is not a TTL unit. In Auto mode a built-in light sensor sets output from ambient light once the ISO and aperture have been entered by hand to match the camera. In Manual mode output can be set from 1/128 to 1/1. Two optical slave modes, S1 and S2, allow wireless triggering. S2 ignores pre-flashes and fires on the second flash, which helps in TTL environments.
The head tilts from -10° to 90° with a side dial, so it can be used for bounce lighting. A 7.4V 1200mAh built-in lithium battery gives up to 1200 full-power flashes, with a recycle time of about 1.2s. A 0.5W 6500K modeling light is included. The flash weighs 120g and has a fixed 28mm focal length.
It mounts on any camera with a single-contact hot shoe and is charged over USB-C at DC 5V/2A. A diffuser, eight colour filters, a USB A to USB C cable, a user manual and a carrying bag come in the box.
