The B-6 is a 2.4 GHz wireless system built for saxophone. A transmitter clamps onto the bell using a rubber-wrapped clip that can be operated with one hand, and a gooseneck electret condenser microphone with a patent-pending shock-absorbing structure is designed to reduce unwanted resonance and key noise. The signal is transmitted at 24-bit / 44.1 kHz with a 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response and latency below 4 ms.

Three modes, each with its own EQ curve for soprano, alto or tenor saxophone, are switched with the POWER / SCENE button on the transmitter. The transmitter and receiver have built-in 500 mAh batteries and run for more than 4 hours. The supplied storage case charges both units at the same time and holds a 3000 mAh battery that adds up to 15 hours of extra running time.

The system operates in the 2.4 GHz band with a line-of-sight range of up to 20 meters (67 feet), depending on the environment. Charging is by dual-pin USB Type-C cable. An auto-sleep function switches the units off after 10 minutes without operation.
