TX-SR3100

The TX-SR3100 is a 5.2-channel AV receiver sold as a certified factory-refurbished unit. It was tested and inspected by an approved quality assurance professional and is stated to meet the same performance standards as new products, though minor cosmetic imperfections are possible.

On the audio side it decodes Dolby Atmos and DTS:X object-based formats. A Dolby Atmos Height Virtualizer creates a virtual height and surround effect from a conventional speaker layout. AccuEQ Room Calibration sets up speaker size, distance and equalisation for the room. A Vocal Enhancer adds the centre element to the front left and right speakers to make dialogue clearer, and a Music Optimizer listening mode restores detail lost in compressed files such as MP3, AAC and WMA. Klipsch Optimize Mode applies suitable crossover settings for Klipsch Reference and Reference Premiere speakers.

On the video side it handles Dolby Vision and HDR10+ content and 8K/4K Ultra HD. Phones, tablets and PCs can stream audio over Bluetooth, and the receiver starts playback automatically when it detects a stream from a paired device.
