The twotwo.6 is the middle model of a three-model active monitor series, sitting between the twotwo.5 and twotwo.8. The model number refers to the approximate bass driver size. It pairs a 170 mm (6.5 inch) bass unit with a 27 mm soft dome tweeter, with a crossover point at 1.8 kHz. Bass is loaded with Advanced Transmission Line (ATL) technology, with an effective line length of 1.6 m.

Each monitor has dual Class-D amplification and a DSP engine that controls driver response, crossover and EQ. The cabinet can be used standing upright or on its side without affecting stereo imaging or tonal balance, which helps in tight spaces such as outside broadcast vehicles, radio on-air studios, TV sound galleries, project studios, edit suites and A&R listening rooms.

Inputs cover balanced analogue on XLR, unbalanced RCA/phono and AES digital on XLR, with digital handled up to 192 kHz. Input sensitivity is adjustable from +4 to +15 dBu. Registering the product within 10 days of purchase extends the warranty to 20 years, subject to terms.
