Description
The ES30 is a horizontally oriented center channel loudspeaker for home theater use. It combines two mica-reinforced polypropylene woofers with a 1-inch Terylene dome tweeter, and is rated for a frequency response of 55 Hz to 40 kHz. Its tweeter is Hi-Res Audio certified, and the speaker is described as compatible with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X content.
The cabinet is built from damped MDF with internal bracing to limit resonances, and a Power Port vent supports low-frequency output. A magnetic, anti-diffraction grille is removable. The drivers and crossovers are timbre-matched so the center channel blends with other speakers in the Signature Elite line.
Connection is by a single set of gold-plated 5-way binding posts. The speaker works with 4 and 8 ohm amplifier outputs and is recommended for amplifiers delivering 20 to 125 watts per channel. Sensitivity is 88 dB at 2.83 V / 1 m and the crossover frequency is 2.3 kHz.
