The FLEX RS1 is a hardware video processor for creative display layouts. It takes 4K inputs (up to 4K@60Hz, with internal 4:4:4 processing and HDR compliance) and drives up to four outputs, each with its own resolution setting.
Three operation modes cover different jobs. In Rotation mode, each output can be turned in 1 degree steps and placed in pixel space, with support for mixed pixel pitches using zoom and scale. In Projection mode, variable edge blending can be applied across the four outputs in any arrangement, for panoramic displays or arrays. In Independent mode, the unit works as a compact splicer for walls up to 8K x 1K or 4K x 2K, including splitting a 4K@60Hz signal into four 2K sections for pixel-to-pixel mapping.
Multiple units can be cascaded to add screens. Configuration is done in RGBlink XPOSE, which runs on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Linux. Remote control is available through the RGBlink OpenAPI and the Art-Net protocol.
